Functions:

  • Reporting to the CTO, located in Torino – Italy
  • Responsible for 1D CAE pre-sales and business development activities in Italy
  • Perform local technical consulting activities upon customers request
  • Participate in the discovery process to assist in determining the customer needs
  • Develop the deal opportunities by creative technical thinking
  • Perform product demonstrations to customer in support of the sales process
  • Development of demonstration databases and materials as needed
  • Support customer product evaluations through training and benchmarks
  • Verify customer proposals and assist with product configurations
  • Support of BSim products and services at trade shows and presentations
  • Maintain product knowledge in terms of theory, practice and use of sw systems
  • Attend the necessary training to develop demonstration skills for new products
  • Provide feedback related to product performance
  • Liaise with the business units technical staff in Lyon (FR) to resolve customer issues that arise during the sales process and engineering activities
  • Develop an understanding of competitive products for comparison. Meet pre-sales targets for the year
  • Provide necessary reporting to track progress

Functions: 

Profile:

  • A degree in mechanical/aeronautic/electrical engineering and/or 2 years experience of hi-tech project engineering and/or pre-sales
  • Strong knowledge of 1D products and applications (Amesim, Matlab/Simulink or similar)
  • Able to adapt well to fast changing environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to travel
