The 2 following “how to” videos are examples of design exploration applied to the use case of an injector model. These videos will present you how to:
- Define design of experiments (DoEs)
- Optimize your design using either the NLPQL or the genetic algorithm
- Assess the robustness of your design with Monte Carlo analysis
Part 1 – Using the design exploration capabilities on an injector model: optimization
This video introduces the optimization capability of the design exploration features of Simcenter Amesim.
Starting with the example of an injector, we will show you how to use the proper tool to optimize the geometrical parameters of this injection system and reach the desired performance.
Part 2 – Using the design exploration capabilities on an injector model: robustness
This video introduces the Monte Carlo analysis capability of the design exploration features. After the optimization of the injector design as seen in the first part, the objective is now to assess its robustness.
